The villa Garibalda was built between the 18th and 19th century. At that time the house was a “meeting point” for the Garibaldini – hence the name. The Garibaldini were supporting Giuseppe Garibaldi, the hero of the two worlds: Italy & South America. He was an important figure in the Italian history through “ La Spedizione dei Mille” in 1860. The Villa was bought in 1954 by Fausto Coppi – The Campionissimo. He was born in Castellania, just a few km away from the Villa. His history and his carisma still have a great influence throught this area also through the Campionissimo museum in Novi Ligure.
After a long renovation period, the Villa has developed itself into a wonderfull place to stay , full of charme and history but still very close to nature. Surrounded by antiques, precious tapestries and 21st century amenities - this is a truly unique and unforgettable place to spend a delightful stay.
